Swan's e-money license is valid across the European Economic Area (EEA). The availability of Swan's features depends on local regulations and the presence of the provider in each country.

The Documentation, API, and Dashboard are only available in English.

Swan end-user interfaces and the Support Center are available in several languages:

Finnish (fi)

Finnish is a supported account language and account membership language with certain limitations:

• Finnish isn't available as a card language. When the account language is Finnish, the card language defaults to English, which includes card packaging and the language displayed on payment terminals.
• Finnish isn't available for the bank details document. When the account language is Finnish, the bank details document is generated in English.

French overseas territories

France's overseas territories have varying eligibility for Swan accounts based on their legal status and relationship to the European Union.

Eligible DROM territories

The following French overseas departments and regions (DROM) are part of the EU/EEA and are eligible for Swan accounts:

• Guadeloupe
• Martinique
• French Guiana
• La Réunion
• Mayotte

Ineligible COM territories

The following French overseas collectivities (COM) are not part of the EU/EEA and are not eligible for Swan accounts:

• French Polynesia
• Wallis-et-Futuna
• Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon
• Saint-Barthélemy

Special status territories

The following French overseas territories are not eligible for Swan accounts:

• New Caledonia (sui generis status, not part of EU/EEA)
• French Southern and Antarctic Lands (TAAF) (no permanent population)
• Scattered Islands (no permanent population)

Address requirements for DROM

When creating accounts for entities or individuals in eligible DROM territories:

1. Country selection: Select France (FRA) as the country for all DROM addresses.
2. Applies to: Both company addresses and Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) addresses.
3. Proper formatting: Use standard French address formatting with the territory name in the address lines.

Physical card shipping to DROM

Swan ships physical cards to all eligible DROM territories:

• Shipping route: Cards are shipped out of Swan's France hub.
• Carrier: La Poste handles delivery to DROM territories.
• Delivery times: Standard DROM delivery times apply (typically longer than metropolitan France).
